It seems simple, but I can’t tell you how many resumes I see that don’t include the staff size and level of people that are managed, driver or warehouse employee count which should be separate, remote locations with staff, P&L or budgeting, pieces of equipment/type/size, or generally what your scope of management is for the company. Titles are not congruent between companies so don’t leave it to the resume reader to assume what you do, you have a couple seconds to establish that, don’t sell yourself short. Consider adding what level you report to in addition to your staff.
FTR s Trucking Conditions Index for October, while currently in low positive territory, remains on course to reflect improving conditions for carriers as capacity tightens from regulations being implemented.
The report’s key metric, the PMI, headed up 3.1%, in January, to 50.9 (a reading of 50 or higher indicates growth), on the heels of a 47.8 reading in December, which marked the lowest PMI reading going back to June 2000’s 46.3.
